This is a quick fun twist on regular ponytails! Great for any length of hair as long as you can pull the hair into two ponytails. I have done this on the younger girls but Z said I could do it to her too so depending on your sweetie, it could be any age!
Start by separating the top middle section.
Seperate that into two pieces. Set aside one half of that.
Split that section into two pieces!
Now cross the two pieces over and pretend like you are starting to tie your shoe! Cross them over and knot them.
Another view! I like the hair wet when I do this part. It helps it slide better!
Tuck that hair around again like you are tying it again!
Pull it tight and close to head.
Have your little sweetie hold both the ends with both hands.
Do the same thing to the other section!
Add those two pieces of hair to your sweetie’s hands!
Split the rest of the hair in two and make two ponytails adding the hair strands on each side!
With K’s I added a little twist by folding the ponytails in half and secured them with elastics in the middle and at the top.
Here is A with her final pics!
