This do is a fun way to keep my girls’ hair up out of their faces! I LOVE it and do it often! Especially in the summer getting wet! It is just like the puffy braid, but braided!!
Start by parting the hair straight down the middle. I like to put one half in a temporary ponytail so it doesn’t get in the way!
Split each side into three sections. Secure the first section with an elastic.
Braid that first ponytail. Secure in a temporary elastic.
Separate the next section, brush it until nice and smooth. Add the braided ponytail to it and secure with elastic. Now take out the temporary elastic in the braid.
Braid the second ponytail and secure in a temporary elastic.
Brush third and final section smooth and add the braid to it. Secure with elastic and remove the temporary elastic.
You can either leave a ponytail at the end like the above picture or you can braid it.
Now do the other side.
