Basic Pony/Braid Do

Here is another basic do that is great for keeping hair neat and in control! It is great for all ages and all types of hair! It would even work well for short hair! This is a great quick do!

I am going to show you two different versions of this do. Both start by gathering the hair on the front top section of ┬áthe head. With K I did a Knot. Instead of the usual knot in the middle, I wrapped the elastic off center and did the knot at a diagonal! With B’s hair I just did a ponytail!

k-1

Braid the small ponytail.

k-2

Split the rest of the hair in half. Take the right side and braid it adding the small braid to it.

k-3

Now braid the other side.

k-4

Super cute and easy too, right?!

k-5

k-8

Like I mentioned with B, I did a small ponytail off center on the top section of hair instead of a knot!

k-7

I braided that ponytail and gathered the hair into two low ponytails.

k-6

Easy, quick, cute and fun!

I Love this, I usually cant do these and always stick with just a plain ole pony tail but I combined the top and bottom pictures to make it my own and it turned out awsome and most important she loved it, she has really thick hair so it can get messy but I did it yay and Thanks

I just want to thank you for this website!!! My Daughter is 5 and just started Kindergarten and even she was getting bored with the same ole hair dos that we have been doing. She LOVES these styles and asks for them everyday. I also want to say that all of your girls are just beautiful!!! Keep the styles coming!!!
